Bob’s Vintage Museum

A unique feature of Bob’s BMW that few other dealers can
boast is the wonderful Vintage Museum that occupies a wing of the
building adjacent to the showroom area. The Museum is open to the
public anytime the store is open, and there is no charge for admission.
The
history of BMW motorcycles comes to life as you walk through the
stunning collection of classic BMWs and Steib sidecars housed in
the Vintage Museum. There are currently around 30 bikes and 5 sidecars
on display, the oldest being an original, un-restored 1925 R32,
which was BMW’s first production model. Visitors will also
see one-of-kind race bikes, rare antiques, a 30+ year-old “Slash
5” model that has never been ridden, and another one with
over 600,000 miles on it! All major periods of BMW’s illustrious
past are represented, with informative text panels to help enliven
the story. Additionally, showcases feature hundreds of rare parts
and accessories, trophies, curious collectibles, BMW toys, and scale
models. There is even a fabulous archive of BMW advertising art
and literature displayed throughout the concourse. Frequent visitors
say they discover something new with every visit! For life long
enthusiasts and the newly curious alike, Bob’s Vintage Museum
is North America’s BMW paradise.
